Process
Homeowners post. Contractors quote. The job stays in one thread through photos and work review.
Live site policy summary. This overview explains how BCS FixSafe works today and is not legal advice. The Terms of Service and related policy pages are the binding rules and may be updated over time.
Describe the repair, location, and an optional budget.
Price, estimated timeline, and a short message.
Other quotes close. A payment record is created for the agreed amount.
Card details stay with Stripe. Live card payments are not enabled; checkout uses Stripe test mode until the owner arms production payments.
Mark complete and upload completion photos on the job.
Approving work records confirmation in the app. In the current test flow, that confirmation does not by itself move money again.
A production hold-then-transfer model is planned before live launch. Live payouts stay off while live payments remain off.

Homeowners pay only the accepted quote amount at checkout. BCS FixSafe deducts a 7% platform fee from the contractor payout on accepted jobs — not from the homeowner total. There is no lead fee for contractors; browsing, posting quotes, and messaging are free. Card details are handled by Stripe, not stored on BCS FixSafe. Live card payments are not enabled. In the current test flow, Stripe may route the contractor share at checkout. Approving work in the app records your confirmation. This is not legal escrow. See the Payment Policy.
